  • Record highs: For 12 years Germany's HR market performs stable and exceptionally. In Q4/2022, the companies pushed the number of jobs to the highest in Germany's history.
  • With monthly around 2 million jobs to fill Germany is the #1 in Europe and a world leader in terms of jobs and economy.
  • Covid: Germany is fairly "immune" to the global economic fluctuations In "C-19 Year 2020," it hit the brakes, too. Despite this almost forgotten "blue eye":
    • Germany's HR market was stable and profitable.
    • Germany's companies offered 12,718,466 jobs. 
    • Germany's UE rate increased only slightly.
    • To avoid layoffs the companies by "short-time work" largely kept their well-trained inter/national staff on board . They proved their strong social ties with them.
    • C-19 became an accelerator regarding "Home Office & Remote Working".

Your skilled candidates will have 3 ways to work in Germany:


1.  Experience: You can place candidates with at least 2 years of work experience and recognized FOREIGN qualifications (no German recognition needed). Candidates below the salary thresholds can start working at once but need a recognition that can take place AFTER their entry to Germany ("recognition partnership candidate/employer").

2.  Qualification:
 For IT specialists already first experience is ok. NO recognized degree or proof of German language needed.

3. Potential: 
Candidates without concrete job offers, but with potential for employers can use the new "Chances-Card". It 

  • It bases on a point system. Criteria are: qualification, German & English knowledge, experience, relation to Germany, age, potential of live partner.
  • It allows employment already during job search (up to 20 hours per week) and probationary employment with future employers (up to 2 weeks)

ADDITIONAL SIMPLIFICATIONS & CHANGES PLANNED BY THE SWIA:

  • Recognition procedures in certain cases can be done in Germany. Companies can employ your candidates with their foreign degree and they need to obtain their recognition within 3 years after employment start.
  • Western Balkans (=doubled contingent): Each year 50,000 nationals from the 6 Western Balkan states Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Kosovo, Northern Macedonia, Montenegro, and Serbia are admitted to work in Germany. No proof of professional or recognized qualifications needed.
  • Contingent employment: German companies, bound by wage agreements and from industries with high demand can hire candidates for 8 months (regardless of qualifications), if they employ them from the 1st day subject to social security contributions.
  • EU Blue Card: It will be extended to other university degrees. The minimum salary threshold for standard professions will be lowered to 50% of the income threshold for contributions to the German general pension insurance scheme.
  • "Lane Change": Qualified asylum seekers & tolerated persons who live in Germany already before March 29, 2023 and have jobs / offers, can end their asylum procedure and apply for residence permits as skilled workers – without prior departure or visa procedures. Parents (in-law) can get residence permits (family reunification) if the professional (and spouse) lives permanently in Germany.
